Communion Meditation, Pictures

How many people here today are carrying a wallet or a purse and you have pictures in it of your family, friends, husband, wife, grandkids, ect. For the past 13 months I have been taking pictures of all the new members who join the church. They either transfer from another church or are baptized.
It has been a blessing being a part of this ministry. Seeing a child get baptized as well as an adult is awesome, imagine what kind of party is going on in heaven when someone asks Jesus into their heart and gets saved.

If you know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, He has your picture in his wallet. If you ever drew a picture or traced your hand on a piece of paper as a kid and gave it to your mother or father to put on the refridgerator. If you gave that picture to God I am sure He would put it up on His refridgerator as well.

I've never seen a green dog or cat before, and very rarely would we see a picture that was colored between the lines. No matter how bad it is, it is still on the fridge anyway because you love them. Just like God loves us. As we observe the Lord's Supper think about John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life."
Say that verse again but take out "the world" and "whoever" and put in your name in that place.

Matthew 26:26-30

26While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."
27Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.
28This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
29I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father's kingdom."
